Mayor inspects water supply works

TIRUCHI: Mayor S.Sujatha accompanied by Corporation Commissioner T.T.Balsamy on Monday inspected the overhead tanks being constructed in various parts of Tiruchi city under the Tiruchi Corporation Drinking Water Augmentation Scheme being carried out at a cost of Rs.169 crore.
The Commissioner said that the works under the scheme were divided into eight parts and 35 overhead tanks were being constructed in full swing and pointed out that a 10-lakh litre capacity water tank was being built in Sangiliyandapuram and four-lakh capacity tank in Highways Colony in Ponmalai.
