Mayor: Blueprint for K.R. Market remodelling ready
Mayor B.S. Sathyanarayana said on Monday that Krishna Rajendra Marketwould be remodelled and developed.
During his visits to the market in the past 13 weeks he had come to know of the problems of vendors and visitors, so the Bruhat Bangalore Mahanagara Palike (BBMP) would attempt to address these issues. “The condition of the market is very saddening. We want to change this and restore it to its original splendour,” he added.
The Mayor said that a blueprint is ready for the proposed changes in design. A presentation on the proposed remodelling of the market was made during the BBMP council meeting on Monday.
