Rs. 60 cr. for road works in Hubli-Dharwad
Minister for Information and Infrastructure Santosh Lad has said that 22 km of roads in the city will be developed under the Nagarothana project. Speaking at a review meeting here on Friday, Mr. Lad said the government had sanctioned Rs. 60 crore for the purpose.
High traffic density
Roads with high traffic density would be given priority. The grant had been distributed among three civil zones.
Inspection
Mr. Lad said he would conduct a macro-level inspection in Hubli on Saturday and in Dharwad on Sunday to identify roads which need to be developed.
Deputy Commissioner Sameer Shukla and senior officials were present.
