Rs 69 cr for Hyd, Vizag
HYDERABAD: The State Government has released an amount of Rs 69 crore under the Jawaharlal Nehru Urban Renewal Mission for the Greater Hyderabad and Visakhapatnam municipal corporations to purchase buses and for water supply scheme respectively.
Of that amount, the Centre’s share will be Rs 59 crore and the State’s Rs 10 crore.
It said that Rs 36 crore woulf be given to the APSRTC to buy buses for Hyderabad city and Rs 33 crore to the GVMC for refurbishment of comprehensive water supply in the northeastern zone.
