KDA is planning to get those plots vacated and take possession. Three
commercial plots of 356 square metres had been traced. On one occupier

At Panki, Kakadeo and Jajmau, plots were registered in the name of
other persons than the allottees through nexus of clerks and brokers.
According to KDA officials, majority of illegal occupiers belong to
lower sections of the society and they would be rehabilitated under
Kanshiram Awasiya scheme.
The KDA vice-chairman asked the
officials to check the sealed buildings. There were reports that
construction work was going on in sealed buildings. Some residents had
mailed pictures of the ongoing construction work in the sealed
buildings. There were reports of construction activities in sealed
buildings at Civil Lines, Gwaltoli, Ram Bagh, Shyamnagar, Lal bungalow
and Jajmau.
The vice-chairman had convened a meeting last week
and asked the zonal heads to submit a report about vacant commercial
plots under various schemes so that these could be sold. The officials
were instructed to execute sale deed in favour of allottees who had
deposited the full amount and send notices to defaulters and initiate
