1,400 posts in municipal wing to be filled: Anam
HYDERABAD: Municipal Administration Minister Anam Ramanarayana Reddy has instructed the senior officials to take steps for recruitment of 1,400 posts in the Municipal Administration Department at the earliest.
The Minister who reviewed the recruitment procedure in the department said the government had initiated the process for filling vacant posts in line with a decision taken by Chief Minister K. Rosaiah.
Accordingly, it was decided to fill 1,400 out of the 4,030 vacant posts in the department in the first phase while it was decided to fill 414 vacancies that arose due to retirement of the staff through direct recruitment.
