60 signboards removed from Sector 7 market

Under Section 5 of the Chandigarh Advertisement Control Order 1954,
the enforcement wing of Municipal Corporation on Monday removed 60
signboards displayed by shopkeepers in the Sector 7 market.

During the course of the drive, the team removed signboards
including those of water purifiers and other advertisements from the
front sides of showrooms. The drive was carried out following directions
of Municipal Commissioner V P Singh.
