77.3% polling in second phase

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The local body elections held in two phases in the State has recorded 76.32 per cent voter turnout. The second phase elections held on Monday registered 77.30 per cent.
As per the final figures released by the Election Commission on Tuesday, the voter turnout in Idukki is 76.99 per cent, Kottayam 75.85, Alappuzha 79.41, Palakkad 75.77, Thrissur 74.91, Ernakulam 79.42 and Malappuram 78.72 per cent. The following are the block panchayat and municipality-wise breakup
