983 candidates file papers for municipal polls
On the fourth day of filling
of nomination papers for Municipal Corporation elections in seven
districts, a total 983 candidates filed their nominations on Monday.

According to Dharam Vir, Haryana State Election Commissioner, 116
candidates filed nomination papers for elections of Municipal
Corporation at Ambala, 184 at Karnal, 110 at Panchkula, 153 at Panipat,
132 at Rohtak, 188 at Hisar and 100 at Yamuna Nagar.
49 candidates filed their nominations for elections of Municipal
Committees, Farukh Nagar (Gurgaon) and 63 at Kalanaur (Rohtak) till to date.
