Pudduchery MC team meets Chandigarh counterparts

Chandigarh: A 25-member team of the elected representatives and officers of Yanam (Pudduchery) Municipal Corporation visited MC Chandigarh on Thursday to study best projects of the city, taxation and finance system, urban planning and sanitation system, among other things. Mayor Anu Chatrath welcomed the delegation. Municipal Commissioner P K Sharma gave a brief introduction regarding various projects and functions of the corporation. Others who were present on the occasion included senior deputy mayor Bhupinder Singh and councillors and officers of the civic body. The team also visited Sewerage Treatment Plant and gardens developed by the MC.
