GHMC asks traders to renew licences

HYDERABAD: GHMC has requested all traders to renew their licences as for 2010 – 2011 in any of e-Seva centres / Citizen Service centres as the last date has been extended till August 15, without any penalty payment.
Fresh applications too can be sourced from the centres as well as municipal circle offices.
Traders going for licence renewal after August 16 till October 15 will have to pay 25 per cent fee as penalty in addition to the original license fee. From October 16 onwards, it will be 50 per cent licence fee as penalty, in addition to the original trade licence fee.
Those not renewing their respective trade licences or running businesses without obtaining one are liable to be closed and goods seized, warned Additional Commissioner (Health & Sanitation) S. Aleem Basha.
Road repair
GHMC Chief Engineer Dhan Singh assured that major road repair works which were very badly damaged due to heavy rains recently would be repaired in a couple of days.
He claimed that tender process was completed and the works would be executed. He was accompanying Deputy Mayor Jaffer Hussain and others officials to inspect the battered roads recently.
Mr. Hussain requested officials for immediate removal of debris and improve sanitation standards during the tour Khairatabad to Nalgonda cross roads.
