Submit rental of leased buildings by August 18
BANGALORE: Pushed to the wall over its shrinking finances, the special committee of assets and properties in BBMP set August 18 as the deadline to submit rentals and other details for all buildings in the city which are leased out by BBMP.
“BBMP has records of only 373 buildings leased out, of which 181 properties’ lease period got over. But there are thousands of properties leased out from BBMP. Golf Club is one among them. The data provided by officials have not been accurate,” said Geetha Srinivas Reddy, a member of the committee. The committee has taken a decision not to renew the lease order for any of these properties.
The committee has decided to take undertaking from all the assistant revenue officers on the records that they accomplish to be truthful and accurate.
