Palike spots properties with expired lease
Bangalore, Aug 26, DHNS:
The Property Conservation Committee of the Bruhat Bangalore Mahanagara Palike (BBMP) has identified 62 properties in Bangalore East Zone, whose lease period has expired.
Soon, the panel would send notices to ensure that properties are returned to the Palike. At a meeting held on Wednesday, and led by Chairperson of Committee N Nagaraj and other members, it was decided to issue directives to officials concerned seeking return of property.
The Committee visited a few places such as a canteen near Ulsoor Lake and two properties leased out to the Bengali Association on Assaye Road. The Committee found out that lease period of one of the properties of Bengali Association had expired.
