MCD panel meet discusses 30 land dispute casesPNS | Dehradun
About 30 cases of property disputes and land mutation were taken up on the second day of the working committee meeting of the Municipal Corporation of Dehradun (MCD).
Mayor Vinod Chamoli presided over the meeting in which members of the working committee heard arguments of rival sides involved in various property disputes and land ownership mutation cases.
Earlier on the first day of the working committee meet, the members questioned the efficiency of Municipal Corporation of Dehradun officials considering the decrease in revenue income of the MCD.
They unanimously approved the proposal presented by the Mayor for payment of monthly allowance amounting to `2,000 to all the councillors in the MCD. The third and concluding day of the working committee meeting will be given to assessment of commercial tax on about 57 properties in town.
