BBMP action
In response to a Reader’s Mail published in The Hindu on September 27 complaining about clogged drains in Vidyaranyapura, the Bruhat Bangalore Mahanagara Palike (BBMP) ordered an inspection the following day. A press release from the BBMP said the Assistant Engineer and Medical Officer of Health of Yelahanka Sub-Division visited the site and undertook clearing of garbage and cleaning up of drains to facilitate free flow of water.
