BANGALORE: A day after Bruhat Bengaluru Mahanagara Palike (BBMP) Standing Committee Chairman on Major Works, H Ravindra, said they would buy back all the Transfer of Development Rights (TDRs) from those who would lose land to the Mysore Road widening project, Chairman of Taxation and Finance Committee, P N Sadashiva, on Thursday clarified that the BBMP will not be able to buy back the TDR due to the lack of sufficient funds.
While inspecting the proposed road-widening work at Mysore Road on Wednesday, Ravindra had said that the Palike would buy back the TDR from land owners who lost their lands to the project.
