VMC awareness meets
VIJAYAWADA: The VMC would organise awareness meetings for
schoolchildren and teachers on ‘disaster management and preparedness’
from December 27 to 29.
The awareness meetings are being organised under the project Urban
Risk Reduction Project of the UNDP. The corporation would also conduct
competitions on ‘disaster preparedness’ at VMC Council Hall on Friday
from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m.
