No drinking water supply
There will be no drinking water supply to the following
areas of the city on Wednesday and Thursday in view of a leakage in the
pumping mains of the Kambarasampettai Pumping Station in the city:
Water
supply will be suspended to Marakkadai, Viragupettai, Woraiyur,
Rockfort, Chinthamani, Periyar Nagar, Thillai Nagar, Anna Nagar, Puthur,
Khajapettai, Cantonment, Junction, Uyyakondan Thirumalai, South
Ramalinga Nagar, Karumandapam and Khajamalai Colony for the two days as
repair works were currently underway. Supply would resume on Friday,
Corporation Commissioner V.P.Thandapani said in a press release.
On Wednesday and Thursday. Supply to resume on Friday
