Water supply to be suspended
There will be no water supply in certain areas of the
city on Wednesday because of the repair works undertaken in the
Prattiyur Combined Drinking Water Scheme mainline that has suffered a
breach near the Koppu Bridge. According to a release from Corporation
Commissioner V.P.Dhandapani, the areas include Ramji Nagar, Prattiyur,
Edamalaipattipudur, KK Nagar, LIC Colony, Iyappa Nagar, Thangayya Nagar,
Palani Nagar, Iyer Thottam, Udyanpatty, Viswanathapuram, K.Sathanur,
Ashoknagar, Viswas Nagar, Anand Nagar, Subramania Nagar, Azad Nagar and
Krishnamurthy Nagar.
