“NDMC will not tolerate corruption”
The New Delhi Municipal Council (NDMC) believes in work
transparency and it will not tolerate corruption, its Chairman Jalaj
Shrivastava said on Wednesday while speaking at a seminar on “Promoting
Good Governance–Positive Contribution of Vigilance”, organised as part
of the Vigilance Awareness Week.
Public Grievances Commission (Delhi) Chairman P.K. Tripathi and his predecessor R. Narayanaswami also took part in the seminar.
Both
of them were of the view that vigilance was a very important component
of any management and was closely linked to discipline, commitment and
enforcement. They appealed to NDMC employees to be vigilant in the areas
of work assigned to them.
