Assumes charge as special officer KMC

KARIMNAGAR: Collector G.D. Aruna has assumed charge as special officer of Karimnagar Municipal Corporation here on Thursday in the presence of Karimnagar MP Ponnam Prabhakar and others.
Speaking on the occasion, she said that they would intensify the sanitation drive in Karimnagar town and keep the city clean. She also promised to streamline the traffic congestion in the town and ensure smooth travel for the people of the town.
On this occasion, she opened a complaints redressal cell at the Municipal Corporation. She said that the people can lodge their complaints by dialing 98665-19800 or personally visit the office and give written complaints on various civic issues for early redressal.
Karimnagar MP Ponnam Prabhakar has said that they would take all measures for transforming the town into a beautiful city.
He said that they had proposed to construct a modern fish market at Ramnagar and construct a slaughter house in Baddepalli village on the outskirts of the town. He promised to provide proper roads on the eve of Dasara festival in the town. Municipal Commissioner Satyanarayana was also present.
