Candidates who have devised inventive ways like luring candidates by
remitting money to the voters’ account to avoid detection might land in a
soup as the officials concerned are probing such violations.
According
to a release by BBMP, its commissioner Siddaiah has received
information about some candidates trying to lure voters by offering to
remit money to their bank accounts.
The officials concerned have
been instructed to collect details of all the bank transactions made by
candidates and their supporters in the past few days from certain banks.
