BBMP to set up Degree college

The committee said there would be nearly 500 students passing out within the next two years and thus the decision was taken to cater to these students. Also, the committee decided that 10 per cent of all ward funds would be reserved for education.

Further, the committee discussed on bringing all BBMP schools under CBSE syllabus. Committee chairman B V Ganesh said this would first be implemented in the school in Srirampuram. He added that 307 teachers would be appointed to the schools by the end of Feb 2011.
