BBMP Wants Power Board To Share Its Meter Database
BANGALORE: Bescom meters will now come to the rescue of BBMP tax collectors.
The Palike plans to ask the electricity board to share its database of household meters to cross-verify property details recorded in its property tax database that is currently being updated on the Geo Information System ( GIS).
“We will consult Bescom. Sharing of database will help in tracking and verifying the exact address of property owners,” BBMP special commissioner (project, resource and finance) K R Niranjan told TOI.
