BDA recovers land

The Bangalore Development Authority (BDA) has recovered a
property in Channamanakere Achkut in Banashankari 2nd Stage, by pulling
down an unauthorised structure which was built on a site earmarked for
public utilities. According to a BDA release, five reinforced cement
concrete houses and two asbestos-cement sheet sheds were erected on site
No. 10 in Banashankari 2nd Stage. In an operation, the BDA Task Force
demolished the structures and recovered land measuring 7,000 sq. ft.,
the release added.
