Best sanitary inspectors in city to be rewarded
Sanitary inspectors, who succeed in keeping their
respective wards clean, will be given rewards, according to Municipal
Commissioner M.V. Satyanarayana. During his morning visit on Thursday,
he expressed satisfaction at the sanitation at Sitammadhara and Balayya
Sastry layouts and complimented sanitary inspector Satyanarayana. His
name should be proposed for a reward, he directed Zone Commissioner
Srirama Murthy.
The salary of the sanitary inspector
at Akkayyapalem should be stopped for not wearing uniform, he directed
officials. He visited Sri Prakash School at Sitammadhara and saw fire
safety measures and directed ACP A. Srinivasa Rao to inspect whether the
construction in cellar was in accordance with plan.
At
the Relli Veedhi at Sitampeta, he saw encroachments on the road in
spite of their being allotted houses under JNNURM and asked officials to
verify details.
During his interaction with zone
commissioners, he asked them to identify sponsors for push-carts in
zones IV and V where the new solid waste management was to be launched
next month.
Sponsoring of push-carts was quite successful in Guntur, he told them.
