Bio-toilets to be set up in 25th ward division
MP Kesineni Srinivas visited the 25th ward division
Vijayawada West Assembly constituency on Wednesday and inquired about
the drinking water supply and sanitary conditions prevalent in the area.
He spoke to residents of Nalugustambala Centre and Upparavagu areas and some other localities.
On
the occasion, he said bio-toilets would be set up in the division in a
few months on a pilot basis and steps would be taken for improving the
sanitation. Prototypes of these toilets were already prepared. Repairs
to defunct water pipelines would be carried out soon, the MP said.
