BMC Commissioner orders action against illegal dairies
Garhpale directed BMC officials to take action in coordination with the
police for removal of illegal dairies located behind Saifia College in
the State Capital.
He also told the officials to compile assembly-wise detailed information of all development works in the city.
In a departmental meeting on Tuesday, the Commissioner directed BMC
officials to act swiftly for timely completion of development works,
construction and water supply projects.
He directed officials to act with urgency for identification of
dilapidated buildings and to take relevant action, to speed up health
check up of the sanitation workers, rapid completion of roads under
construction in Transport Nagar and also to be strict in imposing spot
fine.
Garhpale also reviewed the rates of property tax and water cess and he
directed the officials to provide updated information about collection
of these. He also told them to prepare a proposal about estimated
increase in domestic and bulk connections in next two years.
He also directed officials to apprise him about all facts and
circumstances regarding transfer of private colonies to the BMC. He also
passed orders to carryout construction work at the Putlighar bus stand.
In the meeting, he also issued orders to take action against Ansal
Housing Society giving it a last chance of hearing. He also directed BMC
officials to take measures to ensure better sanitation, spray of
insecticides and provisions of mobile toilets and drinking water at
places required.
Additional Commissioners Sanjay Kumar, Chandramauli Shukla, Pramod
Shukla, GP Mali, Chief Engineer Sunil Shrivastava and other officials of
BMC were present at the meeting.
