BMC fixes responsibilities under Public Services Guarantee ActStaff Reporter | Bhopal
The Bhopal Municipal Corporation (BMC) on Tuesday fixed responsibilities under the Madhya Pradesh Public Services Guarantee Act, 2010, which was recently implemented by the State Government. Issuing orders, Municipal Commissioner Manish Singh said that ward and zonal level officials would be responsible for the purpose.
Charting out the services coming under the purview of Public Services Guarantee Act, 2010, the BMC maintained that applications related to water cess connections and making of new Above Poverty Line (APL) ration cards will be looked after by ward officials, whereas, ZOs have been assigned the task of social security and other pension heads, apart from the National Family Benefit scheme.
