BMC notice to politicians
The Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) has issued
notices to six senior Maharashtra politicians, including three Cabinet
Ministers, for carrying out illicit alterations and changes to houses
owned by them in two housing societies in the city.
The
offenders, to whom the BMC sent notices, include Deputy Chief Minister
and Nationalist Congress Party leader Ajit Pawar, senior Bharatiya
Janata Party leader Gopinath Munde, Maharashtra Pradesh Congress
Committee president Manikrao Thakre, Punjab Governor Shivraj Patil and
Cabinet Ministers Patangrao Kadam and Anil Deshmukh.
