BMC sends report on 2014-2034 city DP to state govt
A preparatory report for the 2014-2034 Development Plan for Mumbai
has been forwarded by the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) to
the state government.
The exercise is a part of drafting the final Development Plan,
which will also include the Development Control Regulations (DCR) and
forecasts for 2034.
The report includes details on the city’s infrastructure and a projection of its future needs.
Municipal Commissioner Sitaram Kunte said the report would be uploaded on the BMC website for public scrutiny.
