Chennai Corporation to conduct sports meet
CHENNAI: The Chennai Corporation will conduct a sports meet on Wednesday evening as part of its celebrations in connection with Tamil Nadu chief minister J Jayalalithaa’s 66th birthday.
An official communication said the sports meet would be held at J J Stadium in Kilpauk Garden at 4pm.
The winners for the first, second and third places will be awarded Rs 15,000, Rs 10,000, Rs 5,000, respectively.
Games like kabbadi, carrom, chess, football, hockey, weightlifting, karate, silambattam, body building, badminton, tennis and squash will be conducted for men and women.
