Circular on BBMP logos
Bangalore, August 17, DH News Service:
To stem the misuse of Bruhat Bangalore Mahanagara Palike (BBMP) logo by the corporators on their vehicles, Mayor S K Nataraj, it is learnt, has asked Palike Commissioner Siddaiah to issue a circular restricting the use of logos.
Sources in the BBMP said, the circular would curtail the unnecessary use of official logo by the corporators on their vehicles. There are instances that even the family members use the Palike logos.
The circular issued on August 13 has exempted the Mayor, Deputy Mayor, leaders of the Ruling Party and the Opposition and also the Standing Committee Chairmen and the officials of the Palike from this order. Reason: The BBMP provides all the above peoples’ representatives and sections of the administration with an official vehicle.
