Civic body to seek expert opinion on water seepage
The Tiruchirappalli City Corporation is likely to seek
the expert opinion of the National Institute of Technology-Tiruchi to
figure out the reasons for water seepage on a small portion at Thevar
Hall, which houses a number of shops and business establishments.
The
decision has been taken after the officials inspected the hall
constructed and maintained by the Corporation. A portion of a sunshade
at the complex fell down on Sunday.
Claiming that it
was a minor incident, a senior official of the Corporation said that it
could have fallen down due to seepage of water.
Steps would be taken to carry out repairs and maintenance.
