Civic body to sink seven borewells
Seven new borewells will be sunk at a cost of Rs. 35
lakh to meet the drinking water needs of Thanjavur Municipal Town, said
Savithiri Gopal, Chairperson, Thanjavur Municipality, here on Friday.
She told presspersons that tenders would be called soon for taking up
improvement works in the fish market at Keelavasal at a cost of Rs. 24
lakh. The works include laying of concrete approach road, water
pipeline, and floor for two-wheeler parking.
