Cleaning drive in Mattanchery
The cleaning drive was done under the leadership of Math secretary P K Sudhakaran, a press release said.
Councillor Rejilla praised the Math while councillor Ashraf wanted the Math to extend the plan to other parts of Mattanchery. Kochi Corporation’s lorries and hand trolleys were used for disposing of the waste. The cleaning drive was taken up from Anavathil to Amaravathi.
The cleanliness drive will be held in Marine Drive on Monday.
The Math volunteers will return to Mattanchery on November 28 for cleaning another area.
