Co-ordination panel meets, concern voiced on house tax
Mayor Raj Bala Malik on Tuesday assured the officials of the
administration that the issue of imposition of house tax would be taken
up in the forthcoming meeting of the House Tax Committee. The issue was
taken up during the co-ordination committee meeting between the
administration and Municipal Corporation.
The administration had been questioning the Mayor during every
co-ordination meeting on whether any progress had been made on the
issue.
Another issue that was taken up was about giving approval for the
installation of boosters for which the sites had not been finalised.
Due to this, the water supply in some areas was getting affected. The
proposal has been pending for the past few months.The Mayor also asked for the release of the funds that the administration has to give to the Municipal Corporation.
