The councillors and employees of the Kochi Corporation celebrated Onam in a grand way here on Thursday.
The
function was inaugurated by Deputy Mayor B Bhadra. Standing council
chairpersons, opposition leader K J Jacob and administrative heads
greeted all the councilors, employees and staff members. Deputy Mayor B
Bhadra presented an ever-rolling trophy to the winners of the
‘pookkalam’ competition.
The celebrations came to an end with a sumptuous feast.
