Corporation council adjourned
The Corporation Council was adjourned on Wednesday after
adopting a condolence resolution on the demise of ward 35 councillor
Gnanasekar and former councillor M.R. Sekaran, both of the AIADMK.
Mayor Saidai S. Duraisamy said that the two councillors had contributed to the development of civic amenities in the city.
He urged the councillors to emulate their lives and serve the residents better.
DMK floor leader D.Subash Chandra Bose was among the members who spoke.
