Corporators get laptops, bill Rs7.6cr
MUMBAI: Corporators received laptops from the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC)on Thursday, three months after the civic standing committee had approved the proposal.
The civic body provided will provide Sony Viao laptops to 232 corporators (227 elected and five nominated) at the cost of Rs 7.67 crore. It will also provide them training on the use of laptop.
A special software has been designed for the corporators to get so that they can get details about their wardson it.
