Councillor’s death condoled

CHENNAI: The Chennai Corporation Council moved a condolence resolution for its 93rd ward councillor P.M. Cheran on Monday.
The councillor was hacked to death by a gang at his office in Royapettah last month. Mayor M.Subramanian gave a cheque for Rs.2,22,400 to Arul Mozhi, the wife of the councillor.
