DC convenes meeting on e-District Project
on e-District Project on Monday in which he informed that efforts are
being made to widen the scope of the project.
Choubey said, “Application process under schemes- old age pension,
disability pension, widow pension- will be made online soon and
concerned officials can verify the applications online too. Text message
will be sent to applicant after applying online to inform them about
the status of the application. This will further speed up the process
and benefits of these welfare schemes will reach beneficiaries without
delay.”
For efficient implementation of this project in its first phase, a
training program for the officials and staff of Kanke block is to be
organised on June 10 at Arsande panchayat of the block.
Additional Collector Ravishankar Verma, who is also the Nodal Officer
for the e-District Project, attended the meeting along with District
Education Officer, Treasury Official, Civil Surgeon and many others.
