EMC seizes six marriage halls
City municipal Commissioner G. Nagaraju on Tuesday
seized six marriage halls in the city for having been built in violation
of the government norms. A couple of the marriage halls run by the city
unit of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry were devoid of minimum
fire safety measures. Most of the marriage halls in the city were found
to be traffic bottlenecks for want of parking provision, the
Commissioner said.
