Minister for Labour Welfare S.T. Chellapandian
inaugurated English medium of instruction at Corporation Elementary
School, Levengipuram, here on Saturday.
The Minister
said that students from poor families could study in English medium. He
appealed to the children to develop communication skills at an early age
for ensuring a better future. It has been planned to introduce English
medium at five elementary schools in Tuticorin, a release said.
