F&CC meeting held, Trident to outsource staff for MC
The meeting of Finance and Contractual Committee (F& CC) of Ludhiana
MC went on till late Saturday at mayor camp office. Sources present in
the meeting said that orders for various development works worth Rs 30
crore were discussed in the presence of Mayor Harcharan Singh Gohalwaria
and MC commissioner Rahul Tewari. Sources said that discussions are on
to rope in the staff of Trident, a major industrial player in
manufacturing and service providing companies, active in textiles,
paper, chemicals, software and exports in Ludhiana MC. “Trident is
expected to outsource its staff for technical purposes to Ludhiana MC,”
said a source present in meeting. Economic reforms like how to bring in
more money for pending works and shortage of technical staff were also
major points of agenda in the meeting.
