Fined for dumping construction wastes
The Bruhat Bangalore Mahanagar Palike (BBMP) has
penalised property owners in Padmanabhanagar (ward no. 182) for dumping
construction waste and releasing waste water onto the road. According to
a BBMP release, during the inspection of the locality, the BBMP Health
and Environment department officials found that the waste was dumped on
the roadside on APK Road in Padmanabhanagar. They also noticed that
waste water was let out on the road. The property owners were fined Rs.
3,000 and also cautioned not to release the waste onto the road, the
release added.
