GHMC appoints women Additional Commissioners
The Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) has
appointed three women Additional Commissioners – Priyadarshini, P.
Anuradha and K. Sivaparvathi – to look into issues such as harassment
faced by women staffers at the municipal office.
Commissioner
M.T. Krishna Babu held a meeting with the women staffers to listen to
their grievances on the occasion of Woman’s Day. The staff members told
him about the poor maintenance of toilets, drinking water problem and
called for setting up gym.
