GHMC control rooms to function round-the-clock
The Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation has
established six control rooms to work 24X7 for monsoon related emergency
management.
The list of phone numbers is as follows:
Central emergency (23314289 and 23394566), Central Zone (23322978),
East Zone (24043600), South Zone (24500254), West Zone (23010062) and
North Zone (27807321 and 27804022).
Meanwhile, GHMC
Commissioner M.T. Krishna Babu on Wednesday brought back East Zone
Commissioner D. Jayaraj Kennedy to the head office as the Additional
Commissioner (Urban Community Development).
In his place, C. Ramakrishna Rao, formerly Nizamabad Municipal Commissioner was posted.
Additional
Commissioner C.N. Raghu Prasad will be looking after the administration
wing, according to a press release issued here.
