GHMC Mayor to chair face-to-face event
HYDERABAD: The ‘Face-to-Face’ programme with the public is coming back after a gap of more than a year.The programme will be organised on the first Saturday of every month, with effect from September 4 from 4 p.m to 5 p.m. It will be chaired by Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) mayor Banda Karthika Reddy in coordination with various government departments and agencies.
The programme will be held in the Face-to-Face hall at the GHMC head office on Tank Bund road.
Public grievances would be received over telephone for the first half an hour and later citizens in person can report their problems in person during the programme.
The redressal of grievances would be done periodically in a transparent and expeditious manner.
Government departments and agencies who will participate in the programme are commissioner of police, metropolitan commissioner, Hyderabad Metropolitan Development Authority (HMDA), managing director of Hyderabad Metropolitan Water Supply & Sewerage Board (HMWS&SB), district collector of Hyderabad, district collector of Ranga Reddy district, chief engineer of Metro Zone (APTransco), deputy general manager (Telecom), regional manager of Andhra Pradesh State Road Transport Corporation (APSRTC) and a representative of the general manager, South Central Railway.
