GHMC medical camps soon
A special drive in three spells to create awareness along with
medical camps on communicable diseases has been ordered by GHMC
Commissioner M.T. Krishna Babu. The Commissioner, who held a
coordination meeting with G. Rekha Rani, Hyderabad Joint Collector, L.
Vandan Kumar, Additional Commissioner (H&S), and other senior
officials on communicable diseases with special focus on dengue and
malaria, expressed dismay at lack of results commensurate with the kind
of funds spent on controlling communicable diseases.He directed the
Entomology Wing to coordinate with Town Level Federation and Slum Level
Federation while taking up anti-larval operations, concentrate on hot
spots and removing hyacinth from the tanks wherever necessary.
